Rotary Youth Leadership Awards: Tom Martin announced to the Club that we will be sending six students this year and are in need of one more high school junior girl to complete our delegation.

Happy Feet: Shawn Callahan announced that the next Happy Feet event will be on March 11. A sign-up can be found in the book or contact Shawn if you are able to attend.

Gold Raffle: Mitchell Horst also reminded the Club that this year's "A Golden Night with Las Vegas Southwest Rotary" will be Thursday, March 19 and will be a cocktail party at Southern Highlands Country Club. Members will be encouraged to invite friends and colleagues to attend as guests of the Club. Members should find postcards in the mail and please invited many, many guests. Also, the Club is still seeking to buy back gold so if you have any you are willing to sell, please see Mitchell.

One Drop Cirque Du Soleil Show: Fred Fukumoto relayed to the Club on behalf of Joanne Blystone that the Club is organizing a group to attend a performance at the Mirage in the Beatles Love Theater on March 20. Joanne sent out an email with ticket prices. Please RSVP in the book or directly to Joanne if you plan to attend.

Club member Pepe Charles has a diverse background spaning over 30 years, including experience in international business management with such companies as Procter & Gamble, S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc, Best Foods, and Casino Data Systems.

As a MAP Senior Consultant, he prides himself in the long term relationships he has with his clients and the result improvements that these organizations have experienced. He consults with a wide range of organizations throughout the Southwest.

Pepe led the Club in a problem solving exercise in which he gave each table a problem to solve relating directly to the Club and its needs. Tom Martin, Mitchell Horst, Donnie Garritano and Hank Falstad were all selected as table leaders. At the end of the program, Pepe had each table present on their specific issue and ideas that were generated to address the issue.
