Welcome

 I extend a heartfelt welcome to you.  Welcome, welcome, welcome!  Come on over, pull up a chair and read all about the Las Vegas Southwest Rotary Club.  I am very proud to not only be a member of such a wonderful group, but to also be the 2010-2011 President.  What an honor!

As you peruse through this website, you will find that the LVSWR Club is very active in the community through various service projects as well as our international projects.  If you’re like me and enjoy helping others, this is a great place to be.  In addition, we provide many opportunities for local students including college scholarships and leadership camps.  As part of Rotary International, we help people on an international level, taking on challenges like the eradication of polio.  Now that’s cool!

We even like hanging out together socially.  Yes, we like each other.  We have wonderful members and there’s a sincere warmth of friendship throughout the club.  You know those “warm fuzzies”?  Yeah, we got ‘em.

I want to personally invite you to come out and join us for lunch on Mondays at Lawry’s where you’ll get to meet some of the best folks around.  There’s great food, great fellowship and lots of fun.
